Our commitment
Paepah is committed to making our platform accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that fundraising should be inclusive and that every organization and supporter deserves equal access to our tools and services.
What we do
We continually work to improve the accessibility of our website and storefronts by following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. Our efforts include:
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy across all pages
- Sufficient color contrast ratios between text and backgrounds
- Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, and interactive elements
- Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images
- Clear, readable typography at accessible font sizes
- Focus indicators for keyboard and assistive technology users
- Responsive design that works across screen sizes and zoom levels
Organization storefronts
Every storefront we build for our partner organizations follows the same accessibility standards as our main site. Because Paepah handles all storefront design and development, we ensure consistent accessibility across every organization's fundraising page.
Digital products
Our digital printable products are designed with clear layouts, readable fonts, and high-contrast elements. We are working toward providing accessible PDF versions of all products where feasible.
Ongoing improvements
Accessibility is not a one-time effort. We regularly review our platform, test with assistive technologies, and incorporate feedback from users with disabilities. As standards evolve, we evolve with them.
Known limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may not yet meet every WCAG criterion. We are actively identifying and resolving any gaps. If you encounter a barrier, we want to know about it.
