Riverside Elementary's parent council had a library renovation goal: $2,500 by the end of the school year. With six weeks left and three bake sales already behind them, they were tired and under the goal.

Here's how they hit it in three weeks — without another event.

Week 1: launch to the core

They set up a Paepah storefront with printable activity packs and sent one email to the PTA mailing list. First-week result: $680 from 34 supporters, mostly long-time parents.

Week 2: expand the circle

They asked the first 34 supporters to forward the link to one extended family member. That one ask netted another 52 sales — grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends from other cities.

Week 3: classroom competition

The principal announced a friendly competition between grades. Whichever grade had the most sales got pizza day. The competition added momentum without adding work.

Final total: $2,412

Zero bake sales. Zero logistics. And the library got its books.

"I can't believe how much easier this was than what we'd been doing," the PTA president told us afterward. "We're not going back."
